I have just finished EDUC 4150 which is the beginning of the online learning module. This has been super timely as I’m struggling to adapt to a post-Covid world.

The highlights of the course for me have been:

• Learning a little about the theoretical frameworks of teaching

• Learning about the alternative assessment tool of ePortfolios

• Learning about how to set quality standards in online teaching

I’m looking forward to moving on to the next module.

Even though it has been a bit of a struggle just to keep my head above water this semester, I’m glad I am doing this now because it has forced me to take some time to reflect on the bigger picture and out of struggle can come much deeper understanding.
